This is a stoner and also a great road trip movie. The story is that Harold and Kumar goes to a humbargar shop after smoking weed. It’s a really simple structure, but they encounter a lot of happenings.
There are a lot of comical scenes in this movie and I especially like their style making fun of the racism. Main characters, two guys, are Asian Americans and sometimes are exposed to racism in this movie. Harlod’s co-worker (white) persuading him to do their works on the weekend, a police officer (white) giving two guys a ticket even though they are just j-walking in the midnight. Sport punks (white) making fun of two guys because their roots are Asia and so on.
Sport punks aka Extreme assholes in this movie are totally bullshit. They should try Extreme Ironing as soon as possible.

I also like expression of the extreme guys because they are described as a kind of chicken in this movie. They might be made fun of as guys who just wanted to do something different in order to avoid being made fun of by their buddies. They reminded me of a Japanese comic which I read when I was in an elementary school.
Well, I shouldn’t forget 2 girls playing Battle shits!!!
I found out that John Cho(Harold) also starred in the television drama FlashForward after I checked it on Wikipedia and just remembered that I watched a couple of stories of FlashForward because I was involved in the website of FlashForward for Japanese broadcasting company. He acted as a guy who think that he will die in the near future. I thought his situation were worse than others. That’s why I can remember him easily. He also starred in the American pie films. Although I have watched first one, I can’t remember how he acted in the movie. I’m going to watch it again soon.
I have two stories about myself which are related to this movie. First, while I was talking about peeing outside with my friend 3 or 4 days before I watched the movie, he asked me how I would act if someone started to pee beside me while I was peeing outside. The movie has a scene which could be answer for the question. Second, there is a scene which two guys encounter a bad police officer and are in trouble for a j-walking in the midnight in the movie. After 2 days after I watched this, I saw a couple crossing after a signal turned red. A couple were stopped by police like a scene on the movie. I felt it was good for me not to cross the road like them because they were walking a little in front of me. I just felt movies affect real life and vice versa. Those things are so funny.
