My studying abroad started! That had been my long-sought, so I’m very excited. From today I’ll write about my life in Canada. Because almost all of the people who watch my blog are Japanese, I’m afraid many of them can not read my text. But writing my blog in English is my study. I’ll write for me! I arrived at Vancouver at August 31. It was raining heavily and much colder than Tokyo that day. Although I intended to search a hostel first, I decided to visit the office of my agent that I entered a language school using to leave my suitcase with them. I can receive some benefits for free by using them. Keeping a thing is one of these.

I could find the hostel is not expensive. I stayed in Samesun Backpackers Lodge that is the $33-a-night hotel. Although there were customers who played hide-and-seek, If you don’t mind screaming or else, I recommend this friendly hostel. When you check at the front at first you get a paper written the rule in the hostel. It is written in Japanese, but in strange Japanese. If you are a person of leisure, you may correct that.

So, I decided the place to live yesterday after staying in the hostel. It takes about 30 minutes from here to Downtown, which is the center of Vancouver. Although only 5 days has passed since I came Vancouver, my first impressions of Vancouver are as follows.

• ・Beggars seem to have fun.
• ・It’s cold.
• ・Some young people are with big dogs.
• ・Many Pizza stores.
• ・Many Japanese Restaurant.
• ・Many Asian.
• ・Cool cars.

She said “FAMILY KILLED BY NINJAS NEED MONEY FOR KUNGFU LESSONS”. Another said “Beer” and “Weed”. Another two said only “Hunger”. They seem to be not with pessimism and motivation. I want to talk with them more.

念願の遊学にやってきました。Vancouver に着いたら寒くてどうしようかと想いましたが、まずはエージェントのオフィスに荷物を預けに。こんな時のためにエージェントを使って語学学校に申し込んだのです。

程なくそれほど高くないホステルを見つけました。ドミトリー一泊33ドル。客がかくれんぼをしたりして非常にテンションの高い所。そういったことが気にならず楽しい雰囲気が好きならオススメ。

そして昨日無事部屋が決まりました。中心部からバスで30分くらい（20分くらいだった）。

以下まだ5日しかいないけど Vancouver の印象。
人が優しい。説得力の全くない物乞いが多い。寒い。若者がデカい犬をやたらと連れている。ピザ屋ばっかり。ジャパレスばっかり。アジア人が多い（アジアだけじゃないけど）。イカした車をよく見かける。
